Step by Step Instructions

The planner opens with a comprehensive article outlining how to best utilize each section of the planner.

Monthly Articles

Each month you will discover encouragement and helpful tips on scheduling, organizing, faith, and more.

Each month, find a selection from Jonathan Edward's Resolutions, including areas to set your monthly personal goals and prayers.

Special Projects

Each month has an area to plan and track a special project. Use this area for planning a yard sale, baby shower, kid's events, and more.

On the monthly pages there is an area to set goals for self care. On the weekly pages, there is an exercise tracker!

School Year Holidays

I've added holiday icons on the monthly and daily pages. These cute images help with quick reference and reminders.

Meal Plans

This new section contains 2 areas. Go-To Meals allows you to create a quick-reference meal plan. Meal Ideals is a place to record family favorite, crock-pot, freezer, take-out, or quick meals.

Holiday Section

This section includes a detailed approach to planning. Find areas for managing greeting cards, decorating, holiday hopes and plans, parties, gift giving per child, shopping, Amazon purchases, holiday traditions, and to-do lists.

This area allows you to track a new habit up to 70 days.

Vacation and Summer Bucket List

Plan the details of your vacation, including an itinerary. I've even included areas to create a summer bucket list!

It was around the tenth year of homeschooling and when my youngest child turned six that the Lord orchestrated events in my life to start a magazine and publishing company. In the previous ten years, I used my Well Planed Day Family Homeschool Planner to schedule lesson planning, calendar, and dinner menu. But now, I had a task list that seemed to grow daily and didn't relate to my homeschool responsibilities.

With unique needs for appointments, to-do lists, and errands to run, I set out to develop a planner that could slip into my purse but still help me coordinate a busy schedule and home management. With an opportunity to custom design my planner needs, I added some unique features!

There are pages to manage projects like a yard sale, church events, a daughter's wedding, a move, or even a home remodel. I even added my favorite spiritual encouragement in Jonathan Edward's 70 Resolutions, as well as a monthly budgeting worksheet.

The On the Go planner is a result of this busy mom's need for a tool that managed work responsibilities while also acknowledging the need to get dinner on the table, make it to the dentist on time, and remember to pay bills or send a birthday card.

Question - I'm homeschooling, can I use the On the Go planner?
If you are homeschooling and your curriculum comes with lesson plans, the On the Go is the perfect companion to monitor appointments, record to-dos, and keep home managed and planned.

If you are homeschooling and need lesson planning, the On the Go would work if you had one student in Preschool through 1st grade. Otherwise, the Family Homeschool Planner is better suited for lesson planning.

Question - Can the On the Go planner work with my students?
The On the Go does not have academic pages like our high school, college, and student planners. However, depending on your young adult daughter's needs, On the Go is great for time management and daily tasks.

Question - Should I buy both the Family Homeschool Planner and On the Go?
When I was homeschooling five kids, I used the Family Homeschool Planner to lesson plan and used my On the Go to manage work, dinner menu, household projects, and church responsibilities. I took my On the Go with me while leaving my homeschool planner on the school table.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this planner replace Well Planned Day, or do I need both?

If you only have one student, only have a preschooler, or are using a curriculum that has lesson plans in place, then On the Go is all you need! If you need to create lesson plans, however, Well Planned Day has better space for accomplishing that purpose. The other exception is if you have a high school student and can use the 4 Year High School Plan.

Is there blank note space?

In addition to plenty of beautifully designed pages for laying out projects and plans, On the Go has a set of blank note-taking pages at the beginning of the planner and an additional two-page spread of note pages in each monthly section.

How can I use On the Go in conjuction with Well Planned Day?

While Well Planned Day is designed to keep everything in one place, many moms love the flexibility of being able to carry an On the Go with them as well! It can be used to keep track of life beyond homeschooling, as a prayer journal, or as a work management tool for the work-at-home mom.

Is On the Go only for moms, or would it also work for single young women who are not in school?

Although many of the articles in On the Go were written with a busy mom in mind, everything about this planner is designed to be versatile. Women of all ages and from all walks of life have found On the Go to be very useful and applicable to their planning and organizational habits.

Fabulous must have planner Review by Heather Clark-Hill
I think this is perfect to help keep busy moms like myself organized and prepared. Makes it super easy to keep curriculum on track for the kids & myself! (Posted on 12/4/2019)
Useful AND Pretty! Review by Dawn
This is my second Well-Planned planner. I had the Well-Planned Prayer. This year I decided to try the On the Go planner. I like the smaller size of it. I can't wait to start using it this July. It is such a pretty planner, yet incredibly functional. It has so many opportunities to help me plan many areas of life. The only thing I can say I was surprise/displeased with is the advertising inside both covers. It makes it too busy, and it's advertising something I have no interest in. I wish the advertisements were on perforated tear out sheets and the inside covers were just blank. Again, this doesn't mess with the functionality of this planner, but somehow it distracts from how pretty and organized it really is! Otherwise, it looks to be another great Well-Planned product! Very Detailed Review by Anonymous
At first, this planner can be a little intimidating with how much it contains. But once you learn the planner and get familiar with the set-up, it is great.

I love the holiday planning section. (Posted on 12/26/2018)
Perfect Daily Organizer Review by Nghtgrdnr
Bible verses and a Bible study, plenty of places for list, daily squares are large enough to write inside. (Posted on 12/26/2018)
I like this because iteverything you need to manage the home... Review by Denise
This is the 5th year I'm ordering one. I'm hooked. I tried for a few weeks to try something else, and I feel all flustered and unorganized. I like this because everything you need to manage the home and life is in one book. Calendars, meals, projects, lists, daily and weekly projects and to do lists, appointments, money management if you want it, blank pages.....the list goes on. It looks like she has added even more. I highly recommend it. (Posted on 12/26/2018)

I purchased the 2018-2019 On The Go A Well Planned Day Planner and I love it! I just wanted to contact you and tell you I hope you will be producing a 2019-2020 On The Go as well. It is so useful! I greatly appreciate EVERY section in this planner. I have gone through several calendars trying to find one that meets my needs as a wife/mother and this one hits the marks. Thank you for providing such a wonderful tool! (Posted on 12/26/2018)
Like the new additions! Review by Rachel
I just received my on-the-go planner and homeschool planner for 2018-2019. I’ve used your products for the last 5 years. When I opened my new planners (one of my favorite days of the year!) I was very pleased to see the changes that have taken place! The additions this year seem like wonderful tools and I am excited to start using them. Thank you for producing such effective, well planned, usable planners! (Posted on 12/26/2018)
Perfect organizer for those unorganized! Review by Katherine
This is my second On the Go calendar. I found an old one and saw how much I used it, and ordered another one right away. It is small enough to carry around, yet large enough to see everything and make notes when needed. Planning for vacations will get done with this! Focusing on good habits like exercise and planning for Christmas sections are great. We have a lot of activities and events going on, so this is great for keeping organized and preventing double-booking. I highly recommend it! (Posted on 12/26/2018)
Fantastic Review by Kalee
