Teach your student the process of literary analysis and discuss six literary elements: conflict, character, theme, point of view, structure, and tone. Teach them to analyze and evaluate authors, word and themes in light of Scripture. Includes an English translation of Rostand's drama Cyrano de Bergerac.
Fundamentals of Literature Tests (2nd ed.)
These tests are for use with BJU Press' Fundamentals of Literature Grade 8 curriculum. These tests provide the teacher with objective results that can be used as part of an evaluation of students' progress. They're not intended to replace informal teacher analysis of comprehension and understanding, but are designed as a method for determining an appropriate level of expectation.
